Bursting onto the market back in 1988, the Air Jordan 3 was the first-ever Jordan sneaker designed by Tinker Hatfield, one of Nike’s most notable designers. Tinker had already established a name for himself after working on the hugely successful Air Max 1, so it was time for him to dream up a brand-new signature sneaker for MJ.
