The shoe's name refers to its formal aesthetic, designed with graduation ceremonies in mind, right down to the laces which take their design cues from traditional graduation cords. It was one of the most anticipated Jordan 11 releases in recent memory and delivered exactly what sneaker culture was hoping for.

Painted in a triple black colour scheme, this Jordan 11 swaps out the silhouette's conventional mesh upper for premium nubuck, giving it an elevated, dressed up finish that stands apart from every other AJ11 in the catalogue. The higher cut patent leather is also executed in black, creating a seamless tonal build from top to bottom. A blue tinted outsole adds a subtle layer of contrast to ground the all black construction without breaking the mood. Built for ceremony, but unmistakably Jordan.
